The Painting aspect
My passion for painting is deeply intertwined with my love for animals and the natural world. I strive to capture the essence of an animal's soul in my artwork, going beyond mere representation to explore their unique spirit. Horses, in particular, hold a special place in my heart, and I often find myself returning to them as my
primary muse.
Through my paintings, I seek to deepen my understanding of what it means to be these magnificent creatures.

As a former representational oil painter, my journey into wildlife art was driven by my desire to understand wild animals living in their environment. Over time, I shifted my focus from achieving perfect renditions to capturing the essence and spirit of my subjects.
I am captivated by colors and the way animals emerge from the interplay of light and shadow. Using wet acrylics or watercolors, I start by following the natural flow of my reference images, gradually refining the form to create a sense of connection between the animal, its spirit, and you, the viewer.
