Carved in big leaf maple from our own tree that had health problems and was felled four or five years ago. It was slabbed and has been kept in my heated shop since. The frame was made from black walnut that was also felled on my farm in Minnesota one hundred years ago.
I chose this title for the confidence, relaxation, and ease with which the moose occupies its natural environment. Still alert and hyperconscious, the grace and elegance of such a massive creature are impressive.
The dimensions are 24 ½" wide X 20 ½" tall and 3 ¾" deep.
It weighs 17 1/4 lbs.
